TECHNOLOGICAL EXPLANATION:
Contrary to conventional thinking, these lenses actually let in more light [twice as much] than ordinary sunglasses. More light means better depth perception, which is especially helpful around the green when reading putts and chips. More light usually means more glare, so Callaway added a polarizing filter to counter this effect. Then they added a blue-green flash mirror to better manage confusing short wavelength light.
