PUSH CARTS

What is Nitro-Piston Technology?

The Nitron’s air-powered one-step open function sets it apart from all other carts in the golf industry.  Its revolutionary new technology makes it the fastest, easiest opening cart in golf.  The nitrogen-powered canister creates air pressure, which pushes the cart open and pops the front wheel out in just seconds.

How long does the Nitron cart last?

It has been tested for over 10,000 open/closes without failing.

What is Top-Lok Technology?

A patented bag-to-cart attachment system designed to securely lock a Bag Boy or Datrek bag onto a Bag Boy push cart, preventing the bag from twisting or turning, eliminating the need for cart straps.

Can I use my Top-Lok cart with other bags that don't have Top-Lok?

Yes, it can be used with other bags.

How can  I order parts for my Bag Boy cart?

You can call us at 1-800-955-2269 and follow the prompts to customer service to place an order. A credit card is our preferred method of payment.

Where do I find parts diagrams for Bag Boy carts?

They can be found here:

https://bagboy.com/pages/parts-lists-diagrams-bag-boy

My cart is pulling to one side. Can I adjust tracking?

Yes, each of our push carts have an adjustable tracking system that will easily allow you to balance the cart.

What can I do if I have a flat tire on my Bag Boy cart?

Bag Boy stocks replacement inner tubes for Express models prior to 2006. However, flat resistant tires may be a substitute for your cart. Please call customer service at 800-955-2269 for pricing and availability.

How do you remove the front wheel from the Express Cart to change the inner tube?

To change the tube, first you have to take the wheel off the bracket. To do this remove the entire front wheel assembly, whether by removing the two screws on the under side or by unlatching it, if you have the newer model. Remove the two Phillips head screws on both sides of the bracket that hold the wheel. The wheel will slide out of the bracket. It might require two people to do this, one holding the wheel and one holding the long part of the assembly and pulling the wheel off of the bracket. Once the wheel is off the bracket, you can change the tube.

What general maintenance tips does Bag Boy offer?

We recommend that you use a damp cloth instead of a hose or pressure washer to clean and maintain your cart. For maintenance on the wheel performance, lubrication may be applied to the wheel pin.

WALKING BENEFITS

What are the benefits of using a Push Cart?

Why Walk?
Bag Boy is reintroducing golfers to the way the game was intended to be played. When golfers walk the course while pushing their clubs, they achieve a greater feel for the game, receive a greater appreciation for the natural surroundings and gain priceless health benefits with the additional exercise.

Pushing Your Clubs will Save Your Back and Improve Your Game
• Stay Healthy & Strong. After studying the issue in depth, the AJGA found that carrying a golf bag during a round of golf, especially among younger players, could potentially contribute to back injuries and fatigue. As a result, the AJGA now allows push carts during all competitions.
• Score Better. In a recent study, their nine-hole averages were 40 with push cart, 43 when riding in the motor cart and 42 with a caddie. “It gets back to the idea that walking gives you a certain amount of time to think about a shot, to rehearse, go through the stuff. Where in a golf cart, you’re holding on, then, boom, you’ve got to get up, go to the ball and make a decision pretty quickly.” (source: Neil Wolkodoff, PhD, Director of Rose Center for Health and Sports Sciences)
Great for the mind and body. But don’t take our word for it, here’s what the experts say:
• Lose Weight. Playing golf four times a week while walking the course expends nearly 8,000 more calories a week than golf cart riders. That’s nine pounds over three months. (source: Golf Fitness Laboratory at Pitt Medical Center's Center for Sports Medicine)
• Burn More Calories. Golfers burn more calories when they walk and push their clubs (718) than when they ride in a cart (411). When they walk, they travel about 2.5 miles, compared to 0.5 miles when they ride. (source: Neil Wolkodoff, PhD, Director of Rose Center for Health and Sports Sciences)
• Improve Your Overall Health. Those who walk 36 holes a week will burn around 2,900 calories a week. Burning 2,500 calories a week improves your overall health by lowering your risk of heart disease, diabetes and cancer.
• Live Longer. A person may gain two hours of life for every one hour of regular, vigorous exercise, like brisk walking. (source: New England Journal of Medicine)
